From Catherine...
Later in this post I'll explain how you can receive the attached bonus report . . .
"50 Lead-Generating Questions You Must Answer In Order To Recession Proof Your Product or Service Using Direct Mail."
I've worked for myself for many decades. I've lived through a few of these cycles. It took a few, but I now see them as opportunities.
Many people are making money and thriving during these times.
This means if they can do it, so can you.
But it will take change.
It will take a different mindset -- and seeing new things as opportunities.
It may even require you to review your values, your friendships, your joint venture relationships, your purpose and your goals. So, allow yourself to step into it.
Over the next ten days, I'm going to share some thoughts on changing your mindset and behavior on moving with the new changes hapening in our economy.
Insead of sharing them all at once, like I've done in the past, I'm changing with the times too. Instead I'm going to provide one at a time. This way you can implement the change you need with more accuracy.
This way, you'll have more time to focus, set up a plan of action and implement -- one change at a time. Taking each step as slow or fast as you choose.
Every few days I'm going to continue this conversation with another step for you to decide if it fits in with the change you want to make. Something I know will make a difference in how effective you will be in this economic time.
No matter what, you must begin with a open mindset. The first step is to shift from trying to chew on too much information at once. And taking on one step at a time.
On this note, let's begin by discussing one change which is mandatory...
Week One: How Are You Reaching Out to Your Prospects/Buyers?
Your bonus is coming, keep reading . . .
Let's begin by discussing your lead-generation programs.
Whatever worked before will not work the same way now. Maybe a few things may stay the same but the whole process will not. It's because people's thinking has changed which means their buying has too.
If you're lead-generation campaigns were poor before, you're in BIG trouble now. And it shows up in the downturn of your revenue.
If you didn't have them planned before, you will now.
If you had good ones before, it means adjusting them to a new mindset – a new decision making process.
It's time to re-examine who your buyers are – they've changed.
Find the exact buyers who are in a buying cycle now. Not next week. Not next year. Now.
Here's an idea on how you can begin . . .
Begin by finding companies who specialize in cold calling to well-developed lists. This companies turn cold into warm and deliver "warm" leads to you for a relatively low cost.
Yes, they're out there.
Nope. It's not time to go into our normal lack of money thinking. That's only fear.
And honestly, you probably don't know the answer to this. That's why you went into this thinking.
If you didn't go into that thought. Congratulations!
Back to the companies.
Seek them out. Find out how much they charge. Compare a few.
Attraction will happen. You'll shift your thinking – a little, or maybe a lot as you go through the research.
This just one opportunity for you to become wiser in your business. Recognize every new customer has a price tag to obtain. Even if you are a one-person business. If you paid $1 per new customer before, you better change your thinking and your projections, it will now probably cost you ten times or higher now.
If you're not willing to pay this. Then chose your business. Because if you don't. The economy will shut it down.
BONUS: Attached is updated version of Download 50 lead generating tips (pdf)
If you want more tips on improving your lead-generating funnel, there are many how-to articles, and probably that fit your specific industry, on the Internet.
Your goal this week is to evaluate your lead generation process. Get honest with what's going on NOW (not before) and plan out the changes needed to stay in business during these harder times.
Till next week…do you fieldwork. You have a single focus…to change your lead-generation process so it attracts in this economic trial.
