Here's number 9 moneymaking blog tip . . .
This one is an easy one to figure out.
Have your own eStore.
There are hundreds of services that will make it as easy as possible to help you set up an eStore.
And if you want to sell books – new or used – Amazon can set you up with an eStore in less than 10 minutes.
There's really no reason not to have one. All you need is a good domain name, things that people want to buy, traffic, and patience.
You can even try Cafepress.com – they provide the whole enchilada – all in less than a few minutes -- with no upfront money too. Then add the café onto your blog. Their directions are ready for you. Too bad the traffic isn't.
So many people will tell you this is easy. Yep, easy to set up. But not the rest of it.
But then again, I've had a few friends set up a blog eStore and are now making a few hundred bucks extra a month with no additional effort. So, take your gamble. You never know.
If there are millions who like to buy your used stuff at yard sales, I guess there's those that will buy anything from anywhere on the net.
Okay, I'm going to stop. This can work as an income. Just don't be sucked into somebody's "it's easy" story without reading in between the lines.
But . . . but . . . if you already have a blog that's gets traffic, go ahead, and slide in a good related product for sale. The register ringing in e-mails will tweak your Twinkie for sure.
Okay, one last tip left. Don't take all this as negative. It isn't. But I'm not going to portray it as "the answer" either.
Tomorrow #10.
