…and many others are playing Blog Tag today. Everyone one is recording what the 10 successful things they do every day on their blog and then they link to the person before them that tagged them and then they tag other people on their list to follow suit.
Joe, Craig and Aaron, thank you for sharing your successful things. I see that we have many things in common.
Like Craig said, “Cool idea Aaron! Bravo for thinking about it!”
The 10 Successful Things I Do Every Day
1. Wake up early. I rise around 5 am every morning with an alarm clock. Have learned a technique from Tony Robbins years ago about setting an internal alarm clock to wake up whenever I decide before going to sleep. Sometimes its 4:41 am and at other times its 5:10am but around 5. A few minutes later, I will be sitting in my favorite chair, sometimes with a fuzzy blanket when there is still a chill in the air, and I listen to mind tape for about 10 minutes and connect with the universal energy. Depending on the feeling, I either read or write.
2. Connect with the global energy. When it begins to get light, I walk to my big ceiling to floor, wall-to-wall windows and stand there feeling the energy in the area begin to wake up. I listen to the birds, my favorite owl, and connect with my higher power/source (God or I am). I practice my attraction mantras, give thanks for all that I have, say a prayer or two for the world. Then I return to my reading or writing until 8 am.
3. At 8 am, I exercise. Something I wished I did more religiously. When it’s rainy or cold, I use my rebounder or go to the gym. When it’s warm, I walk. When nice out I take several walks during the day, usually morning, lunch time and around 5 or 6 (depending on the light).
4. At 10 am, I begin work. I prefer to say I begin my play. I check e-mails, review my targets, and visualize my first target. I write it out and say it a few times. Use Stuart Lichtman’s Cybernetic Transposition process. I am grateful for his process everyday. Stuart has been a blessing in my life, especially his process. If it weren’t for his process, I would still be waiting for my ship to come in.
5. Music is very important to me. It helps keep my energy attraction levels high. When I find my energy dipping, I turn on certain music and swirl around the room like a child playing dress-up with her mom’s clothes.
6. Around 1 pm, I take a power nap of 20 minutes. I do set a timer for this period otherwise I would sleep for 3 hours. I do this right after my walk.
7. Like Joe Vitale, I’m a bookaholic except I prefer not to read several books at once. I find my energy is too scattered when I do. When I read I study the material as if I’m in school and I’m going to take a test on it later on. I also do my writing exercise I have named “writing off the page.” After each chapter, I write a summary that I purposely limit to no more than three sentences. Then I write questions. Questions that I had from the reading. Questions that my clients might like to have the answers for that I know. Questions that I turn into articles and post on my blog, one of my many web sites, or create an article or two into that I distribute on the web or submit to a magazine. Sometimes I ask, “What am I taking away?” I always finish up with these two questions, “What more does the universe want me to learn from this?” AND “How can I support the universe with what I have just learned?”
8. I keep an 8 ½ x 11 journal on my desk that I record different things on during the day. I learned this from Donald Trump many years ago when I took a few negotiation classes from him in New York. George Ross tells me that he still does this and that he started it years ago as well. I forgot to ask him what he does with his old journals; my stacks are large now. Then again, I guess when you have that much money a storage facility isn’t a drag on the budget.
9. Every Friday I review my goals for the coming week, my schedule, and again use Stuart Lichtman’s Cybernetic Transpostioning techniques to work on my targets.
10. I take measurements during the day at certain intervals to see if I’m still on target. These are set up a certain time slots (sometimes they vary) that I set the night before. This keeps me focused and on track.
